31 Content Ideas for October 2025

Let’s be honest, October sneaks up on us every year. One day it’s beach days and iced drinks, and the next it’s cozy sweaters, trips to the valley for apple picking, and pumpkin spice everything.

As a mom, I feel like this month is where the routines really kick in. School drop-offs, sports, and earlier bedtimes... It’s a busy season. But it’s also such a good time to show up on social media, because your audience is craving comfort, connection, annnnd a little fun.

October is rich for storytelling. Whether you’re winding down your season (tourism friends, I see you) or heading into your busiest quarter, there’s so much you can share.

To make this easier, I’ve pulled together 31 prompts to help you keep things rolling, without needing to post every day. Here’s what works for me:

✅ Choose 8–12 that align with your biz

✅ Mix up your content styles (Reels, Stories, graphics, etc.)

✅ Schedule what you can ahead of time
