31 Days of Content for May 2025

Can you feel it? May is finally here, and I don't know about you, but I can literally feel my energy lift as the days get warmer, the flowers start blooming, and we all come back to life a little bit after a long winter.

It’s also the kick-off for one of my favourite seasons: event season! Community events, markets, conferences—you name it. I love helping businesses show up online when the buzz starts building offline.

This month is packed with chances to reconnect with your audience, show your personality, and create content that feels light, positive, and engaging.

Prompt: Help your audience reflect or reframe their spring habits.

Example: A nutritionist could share: "Struggling to stay energized? Here's how to refresh your meal plan this month!"

May 3 – Small Business Shoutout

Prompt: Support another local or like-minded business.

Example: A wedding photographer could shout out a local florist or baker they love working with.


Local Naturopath Dr Ashley Margeson, ND does a great job of sharing regular reminders. A great person to follow during mental health month!


May 4 – Mental Health Matters

Prompt: Share a reminder, resource, or tip for Mental Health Awareness Month.

Example: A coworking space could post: "Your productivity is only as good as your peace. Here are 3 ways we protect our mental health as business owners."

May 5 – Meet the Maker Monday

Prompt: Re-introduce yourself or spotlight a team member.

Example: A custom jeweller could post: "Meet Jenn! She’s the magic behind our hand-stamped necklaces. Here’s what she’s working on this week."

May 6 – Testimonial Tuesday

Prompt: Share a happy customer story or review.

Open City is one of my favourite events of the season and they do a great job of sharing updates from local businesses.

Example: A plant shop could post: "We’ll be popping up this weekend at the Spring Market! Come say hi and grab a leafy gift for Mom." If you are local to HRM, Open City is happening this day which is a perfect opportunity to share you favorite local businesses participating!

May 11 – Mother’s Day Post

Prompt: Celebrate moms, caregivers, and nurturers.

Example: A fitness studio could post: "To the moms who move mountains (and dumbbells) we see you. 💪💖 Happy Mother’s Day!"

May 12 – Mental Health Tip

Prompt: Share a practical self-care habit.

Example: A financial coach could post: "Financial stress is real—try this 5-minute money reset to feel more in control this week."

May 13 – Workspace Wednesday

Prompt: Show where the magic happens.

Example: A candle maker could post: "Here’s what our workshop looks like mid-production day. Organized chaos at its finest!"
